Chemicals are part of our everyday life. They have great importance in every field. They not only bring benefit, but may also endanger human health and the environment. Existing legislation should ensure reduction of the risk associated with the use of chemicals as much as possible. Slovakia, as a Member State of the European Union, applies the REACH and CLP regulation. On our website we provide at the national level, assistance and information necessary for the practical application of the requirements of the legislation when placing of chemicals, detergents and biocides on the market. We believe that the information will help industry in carrying out their tasks under REACH, CLP, detergents and biocides legislation. The website is designed for Slovak visitors and presents information in accordance with the approaches of the European Union. Centre for Chemical Substances and Preparations is the national competent authority of the Slovak Republic responsible for the preparation and implementation of chemicals legislation concerning the placing of substances, mixtures, detergents and biocides on the market.   |
